Terms of Use
The short version: be sensible out there, routes are suggestions, and nothing here takes away your rights under consumer law.
Last updated: 24 October 2026.
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and [publisher's legal name and registered address - to be added] (“we”, “us”), who publishes Wendure. By using the app you agree to them. If you got the app from the App Store, your licence to install it is Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; from Google Play, Google Play's terms apply to the download. These terms cover the Wendure service itself. How we handle your information is in the Privacy Policy.
Who can use Wendure
You need to be 16 or older.
Your health comes first
Wendure gives general training guidance. It is not medical advice and it doesn't know your health the way a doctor does. Check with a doctor before starting if you have a heart condition, an injury, are pregnant, or aren't sure it's right for you. Stop if something hurts, or you feel dizzy or unwell. Heart-rate zones, calories and paces are estimates. In hot weather, go early or late, take water and slow down.
Routes are suggestions
Routes are made automatically from open map data, which can be out of date or wrong. A route may cross busy roads, closed paths, private land or places that aren't safe at that moment. You decide where you actually go: follow traffic rules and local signs, watch your surroundings, and don't look at your phone while moving through traffic. Information along a route (water, toilets, weather, daylight) may be missing or wrong.
Your account
You need an account to use Wendure - sign in by email link, Sign in with Apple or Google. Keep access to it to yourself and give accurate answers - plans are sized from them. You can delete your account at any time: in the app (Account → Delete account) or as described on Delete your account.
Subscriptions and free trial
Some features may need a Wendure Premium subscription. When they do:
- The price, billing period (monthly or yearly) and what's included are shown in the app before you subscribe, in your store's currency.
- New subscribers may get a free trial (14 days unless the app says otherwise). It turns into a paid subscription at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Payment is taken by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) to your account with them. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel it at any time - on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, on Android in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If we change the price, Apple or Google tells you first and, where the law requires, asks you to agree; you can cancel before it applies.
- Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google (Google Play's refund policies). This doesn't limit your rights under consumer law - see below.
Your consumer rights
Australia. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.
EU, UK and elsewhere. You have the rights your local consumer law gives you, including that the app and its digital content match their description and work as they should. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
Fair use
Please don't misuse the service - for example by trying to break into it, overload it, get around its limits, or copy its plans, guides or routes at scale. Use it for your own training.
What's ours, and map data
We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Wendure for your own training. The app, its plans, guides and design belong to us. Maps and routes use data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License, and map tiles from the providers listed in the Privacy Policy. What you create - your notes, custom plans and saved routes - stays yours.
Changes to the app
We keep improving Wendure, so features change. If we remove or substantially reduce a paid feature during a period you've paid for, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel; where the law requires it, you'll get a refund for the unused part.
Responsibility
We work to keep Wendure accurate and running, but routes, map data, weather and estimates come from automated sources and won't always be right, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that can't lawfully be excluded or limited - including the consumer guarantees above, and liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Ending
You can stop using Wendure and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms (for example to attack the service); unless it would be unsafe or unlawful, we'll tell you why first and give you a chance to put it right. If we ever close the service, we'll give you reasonable notice.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app at least 30 days before the change applies. If you don't agree, you can stop using Wendure and cancel any subscription before then. A change never applies to a subscription period you've already paid for.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Wendure or its content, or for support or claims about it - contact us instead. Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as a third party.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in - in Australia, the Australian Consumer Law - and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live. Please contact us first; most things can be sorted out quickly.
